A Prompt You Can
Reuse Tomorrow.

Better answers from ChatGPT, Copilot, or any AI tool start with a better ask. Here’s the five-part template from the session. Copy it, save it, and share it with your team.

Your AI Cheat Sheet

Five Parts. Better Answers.

Fill in the brackets. The more context you give, the less editing you’ll do afterward.

01
CONTEXT
I am the [role] at a [type of business]. This is for [audience].

Tells the AI who's asking and who's reading, so it pitches the answer right.

02
TASK
Please [draft / summarize / compare / plan] [the thing].

One clear action verb keeps it focused on the job you actually need done.

03
DETAILS
Key facts: [ ]. Leave out: [ ]. Here is an example I like: [ ].

Facts prevent guessing. An example shows the style faster than describing it.

04
FORMAT
Keep it [length], as [bullets / an email / a table], in a [tone] tone.

Get it back ready to use, not something you have to reshape.

05
CHECK
Before you start, ask me any questions. Flag anything you are unsure of.

Invites the AI to fill gaps with you instead of making things up.
